The Dirty Dash

A few months ago, my sister, Mimi, got the big idea that all of us sisters should run "The Dirty Dash" in Midway, Utah.  I don't like to get dirty.  I don't like my hands to be dirty.  She was crazy if she thought I was going to do this!  After some coaxing from my sister, Barbie, I gave in, and Taylor and I made a very fast trip to Utah the beginning of June.  Colby was supposed to participate, too, but he up and decided to play Freshman football, so that changed all of his plans.

It was one of the most memorable and fun things I have ever done!!  I am so glad I gave it and did it.  We had such a great time and we got dirty.  It took us two days to get ourselves clean and to get the mud out of our ears, nostrils, and toenails.  We were not the only crazy people to do this.  There were people everywhere!  Young, old, dressed up, serious about completing the race, you name it, they were there.

If you're debating on participating in one of these, all I can say is, do it!  You won't regret it.  Just don't wear anything that you would ever want to wear again.
