A Rubiks Cube and A Nerd

For Halloween this last year (I know, I'm posting this kinda late) Taylor got the idea that he was going to be a Rubiks Cube. I had no idea how we were going to pull that one off but Ryan had other ideas! With a little work and a lot of imagination, we were able to turn Taylor into a Rubiks cube. His costume was definitely a hit! We had so many people stop us while we were trick-or-treating to ask us how we made it. I was a little embarrassed at how easy it was.

Colby played it safe once again and went as a nerd. He's not real hip on dressing up for Halloween (he gets that from his mom) but knows that's what's required if you want candy. His costume turned out pretty good for what we just had lying around the house. Tune in next year for the next round of creativity!

How cute is that Rubik's Cube? Ryan did a great job! Colby totally looked like a nerd so he pulled that off well! I LOVE Halloween! It's so much fun! Great costumes!

I love it! That cute Taylor of a Rubik's cube is awesome. Colby looks like the cutest nerd I've ever seen. I'm always amazed at how grown up they are when I see pictures.

I remember hating dressing up as a kid too. Now for some reason, I can do it for halloween.

Nathan is completely obsessed with the Rubik's Cube that Santa left him. I showed him these photos and he's sold. I hope Ryan took notes so we can recreate this in October. Too bad this one isn't shippable, ha ha.

You make one great nerd Colby! The glasses make the costume!

(I am so not a fan of Halloween either. I cried over costumes as a kid. I push through the pain so my kids can have a fun holiday but it's totally against my nature)
