This last fall to our surprise, Colby didn't want to play in the Lincoln League again. He decided after a full year of playing with no breaks in between seasons, he wanted to rest for a season. Ryan and I were totally okay with that. We don't want Colby to get burned out. However, Taylor decided he wanted to play again. This is the first team he has been on when he hasn't had Colby as a teammate. He really enjoyed himself!
Taylor loves sports but I know basketball isn't his favorite. He tries hard and puts all his effort into it! After much deliberation between Ryan and I, we are going to let Taylor play football this next fall to see if he likes it. It is his dream to play! Here are some pictures of Taylor and his team at their awards ceremony. His little team took first place in the league. They did not lose a game so they were all pretty proud of themselves!

I think you're very wise to let Taylor and Colby follow their hearts and totally support them. Good for you! You're doing a great job!
I can totally see Taylor as a football player. I hope my kids continue to like sports, like your boys. I wouldn't ever push them to do it, so I hope they always want to!
