The day has arrived! Colby and Taylor made it to school and I assume they are tucked safely in their classes. Once we stepped foot onto the schools' campus and they met up with their friends, I was a thing of the past. Colby finally said to me, "Mom, you can leave". I guess that was my que.
Here are the pictures to document the occasion. As usual, Taylor looks grumpy in most of them because he's either being taunted by Colby or doesn't want his picture taken. Whatever!

Those are two of the cutest boys that I know! Love their freshly ironed clothes and perfectly combed hair! I hope they had a great day and will have a great year.

I love 'helping' pick out the first day of school outfit. Nathan quits letting me comb his hair a few weeks in too. He says boys his age don't like to comb their hair, ha! We still have two weeks until school starts. I'm ready and not ready all at once. Cute photos!
I love that you make them take photos on the 1st day of school. I really wish that I had some of those-I probably do..somewhere. My Mom and I were talking about your boys today. They sure are special. What a lucky Mom you are.

Hi Cara, yes we are in AZ - Mesa area, not too far from where Jason and Alyson lived. We moved up to WA after James finished school for about 4 years and then moved down here in 2006. His siblings all live here with their kids and my brother Ian and his family moved out here abt 18 months after we did. (Lots of cousins!) It's hard not to have our grandparents close by (as you know) but we live in a strong LDS community and we have a huge ward (848!) and we really like where we are at. I knew you guys moved to CA when my parents still lived in Arlington but that was years ago!
Glad you guys are doing well - and fun to see your family pictures. I love blogs too! It's fun to keep in touch.
