One last game with the Mavericks.
Practice is two nights a week with games on Saturday, no Sunday games! Hooray! So hard to find around here. I also noticed that there aren't any cheerleaders and offered my services to Colby to be the cheerleader but he firmly said "No". I had the outfit picked out and everything! I think if Colby would just let me try out he might change his mind.
A blurry picture with Team Performance.
The coach is awesome! Very patient but firm. He told the parents at the first meeting that he expects every one of these boys to walk away with a scholarship to play college basketball. That's quite a statement, and commitment! Colby is loving it and every evening I hear the basketball bouncing in our backyard when I come home from work. Such a sweet sound. It gets me all jittery inside knowing that UOP Men's basketball is just around the corner.

A few things:
1)Colby (and the rest of Stockton, CA) DO NOT know what they are missing by not letting you cheer.
2) What is Bumfrogs all about? Do they manufacture Wenuses?
3)Ryan has said too many "No" statements lately. Whip him into shape would ya?
and
4) would Colby let you dance instead? I could lend you my slip :)
I think once Colby saw you in your cheer outfit, he would be all about letting you embarrass him in front of all his friends.
I love how both the boys have found something they love and really go for it! Such boys and I love it!
