A Whole Lotta Nada

I can't believe it's 11 days into the new year and I haven't had one thing to post about. We don't have a whole lot going on right now, plus the recovery from the holidays takes some time. Our life, in a nutshell, is work, school, basketball practice, church, the UOP games, and loving the pup. That's it, nothing else. I finally got all the Christmas stuff down and put away over the weekend while Ryan and the boys were at at basketball tournament in Sacramento. It felt so good to have it done!

One bit of exciting news is Ashley and Ben got engaged over Christmas break! We are so excited for them! Ashley is CP and Geniel's daughter who is like my little sister. We love their two kids! I'm sad that I didn't get a picture of the two of them while they were at our house one night to post but they are adorable! I am very excited to watch the wedding plans all come together and maybe I'll get to help a little bit, too.

Colby's team won the tournament this weekend so he was happy about that! They seem to be on a roll and hopefully they can keep up their winning streak. From March to June our life as we know it will be non-existent because it's going to be basketball, basketball, basketball. Two of the tournaments they will be participating in will be in San Diego and Las Vegas. I really, really want to go to both places. I hope Colby is prepared for what is about to come his way.

I always love a new year! There are so many things to look forward to and hope that will happen in a new year. It is the year of the rabbit, afterall, so it's got to be a good year, right?
