I. Can't. Believe. How. Far. Behind. I. Am. In. Blogging. I hope you felt the emphasis on that sentence. I've been going through my pictures, and holy moly, do I have a lot of catching up to do! My life is exciting...really, it is! (Crickets)
So, back in September, we decided to take our first trip to Disneyland. It was like pulling teeth to get the boys excited to go, literally. They have not wanted to go to Disneyland, that is the biggest reason we've never gone. When we've told them we could go here (fill in the blank) or to Disneyland, they've always chosen the other destination. Their impression of Disneyland has been that it was for little kids. Boy, were they surprised!! They loved it and we had a great time riding the rides. There were some that they wanted to ride over and over again (Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Matterhorn), while I couldn't get them to go near other rides (Small World, Tea Cups, and Dumbo). My all-time favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, was closed down for maintenance work and I was bummed. The boys definitely want to go back.
We spent one day at California Adventure, too, but they are still doing major building and construction there so a lot of the rides were closed down. We also enjoyed Downtown Disney. Colby spent some time at the ESPN center and he loved that, while Taylor got to build a car at some fancy-shmanshy place that's like Build-A-Bear but you build a car not a bear. The highlight of Downtown Disney for me was finding Snoopy's buddy, Woodstock, for Hurley.

The famous picture taking spot.
The Frat Boys.
Standing in line at one of the rides.
Everything was decorated for Halloween. I loved the Haunted Mansion!
Colby and Taylor standing next to Woody, made of legos in Downtown Disney.
I think Colby got some cold water down his back.
I was trying to get the boys to act silly but some girls were taking pictures of us in the box.
The famous ferris wheel.
