Maui - Day 2 - To The Condo We Go!

After staying the night in our luxurious hotel (me being sarcastic), we had some time to kill before we headed to the condo. We decided to take the road to Hana to see all the sights. It is a very windy road and not recommended for people who get car sick. Our first stop along the way was a popular surfing spot. You can't see it in the picture but there were hundreds of surfers in the water. It was really cool to see them to their tricks!





We continued on up the road because we heard that part of the road went through a tropical rainforest. Taylor got a little bored and started snapping picutes. This is what his photographer's eye caught.





We finally found a waterfall and decided to stop and take a closer look. There as also a small stream that was running down the rocks. It wasn't until we were standing on the rocks that we saw the sign that said, "Warning: Flash Floods Occur". I quickly scooted back up to the bank but Ryan and the boys did a little more exploring. Colby was hoping to find a monkey!








After this stop, we turned around and headed back to stop at Costco, get some lunch, and head to the condo.
